It is with much sadness and a heavy heart that I share with you the very sad news about Henry Ford Elementary Student Larine Ahmad.
Larine passed away on Saturday night.
Our most sincere condolences go out to the Ahmad family during this most difficult and tragic time.
Social Workers and other staff will be at Henry Ford Elementary on Monday and as needed during the week to offer support for students and staff as they try to process the loss of their student, classmate, and friend. I also plan to visit the school with other central office administrators.
We have also learned that the family will accept visitors and condolences at the Islamic Institute of Knowledge around 6:00 – 9:00 this evening, February 10th. Address: 6345 Schaefer Rd; Dearborn, Michigan 48126
