All schools and buildings (35 in total) were visited during the first week and everything is going extremely well. We have a great school community in Dearborn! We also had a visit from the AFT president Randi Weingarten that was facilitated by Chris Sipperley the DFT president.

I was able to visit all of our buildings this week including Transportation and the Operations Building on Haggerty. We have a total of 35 buildings in the school district. That actually includes 36 different schools/programs when we include the Henry Ford Early...

I completed 16 school visits and shared the heat in several buildings with faculty, parents and students.  I appreciate the hard work of our faculty and volunteers to ensure a successful 2nd day of school.
