- School Visits. I continue with my school visits and attending late starts and faculty meetings. This week I was able to visit Oakman, Lowrey, Salina Int, Salina Elementary, Edsel, Fordson, Becker, McDonald, the Heights Campus, Howe, STEM, Montessori, DCMST, the Berry Center, Howard, Lindbergh, and Stout. More visits next week. Cabinet Members will also continue to be visible in the schools. I had some great selfie photos with students in the Magnet school.
- Dearborn Schools Employee Health Plan. This was a great event. I appreciate attending and I understand that there will be a 2nd Fair on October 15.
- Fordson Home Coming Game. I had fun on Friday night at the Football Game Great to see everyone at the Game. It was a Pink out to Support Breast Cancer Awareness.
- Chamber of Commerce Community Events at the WW Business Leadership Dinner and the Nine and Dine Fundraiser. I was able to take a picture with the Girl’s Golf Team at Dearborn High. Jessica was the one who out drove me on Sunday.
- A meeting in Lansing with the State Superintendent Brian Whiston.
