I attended a conference in Washington D..C and co-presented with mayor O’Reilly, Chief Haddad, Imam Mardini, Dr. Barnes, and the One Dearborn Team regarding our cooperative model and cooperation between the police, local government, school district , faith community, and broader community. We are recognized as a national model by the FBI, national Chiefs Association and law enforcement agencies across the nation due to our inclusive cooperative model with the community. It is all about the trust we have built. We also visited with Representative Dingell and had an excellent meeting in her office near the Capitol building.
