The day started with the chance of a storm. By the time the ceremony started there was very light rain. The rain stopped during the ceremony and as students received their diplomas we saw a rainbow in the background(see the picture below). By the end of the ceremony we had bright sunshine in the background. Principal Alcodray and her staff did an outstanding job managing the day and the ceremony with the potential for inclement weather. Trustee McDonald did a great job with her speech. Congratulations to the graduates. I predict great things ahead for each of these Dearborn Public Schools Graduates. I wish each and every one of you all the best with your future endeavors. I am Looking forward to the ceremonies at Edsel Ford and Dearborn High this weekend.
