We recognized the Board for their hard work at the January 11 board meeting because January is Board appreciation month. I want to thank the board for their hard work and the awesome support that they have provided to me since I have been the Superintendent.

My school visits resumed after the break and included the following: Michael Berry Career Center, DCMST, Dearborn High, William Ford, Miller, Geer Park, Maples, Woodworth(2), McCollough-Unis, Fordson, Oakman, and Snow. In addition, School Improvement Visits will resume in February. We are planning to hold 3 unannounced School Improvement Visits at randomly selected schools as a Pilot during the second semester.
Networking with Superintendents from Across the Country. I attended the District Administration Leadership Institute (DALI) Conference to network with Superintendents from across the Country.
