Dearborn Schools is adding three more free COVID vaccine and booster clinics in March, including two at Dearborn High School. All the clinics are open to students, staff and the community.
Dearborn High will host clinics on Saturdays March 5 and 26 from noon to 6 p.m. The school is at 19501 Outer Drive, Dearborn. Visitors can park on the south side of the building in the staff parking lot between the school and the football field.
Whitmore Bolles Elementary, 21501 Whitmore St., Dearborn, is holding a COVID vaccination clinic on Friday, March 4 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The new clinic dates join two others already scheduled for this week. Haigh Elementary, 601 N. Silvery Lane, will hold a clinic on Wednesday, March 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. Smith Middle School, 23851 Yale St., will hold a clinic on Thursday, March 3 from 3 to 7 p.m.
The last shot at all the clinics will be given 15 minutes before the clinic closes.
Those planning to attend will receive an extra incentive if they register at bit.ly/dearbornschool.
C-ASSIST is providing the clinics. Pfizer and Moderna vaccinations and booster shots will be provided at no cost. Pfizer vaccines can now be given to anyone age 5 or older. Boosters are available to anyone age 12 or older who received their second Pfizer or Moderna vaccination shot at least five months ago. Health professionals will be on hand to answer questions. Gift cards will also be given away.
