Press Release #10/Sept. 13, 2022

Dearborn’s three traditional high schools are all planning Homecoming events this fall, and for the first time in three years, the public is invited to attend.

Fordson High is first up this year with the Homecoming game set for Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m.  A Homecoming parade through the neighborhood will precede the game at 4 p.m.  Fordson sits at 13800 Ford Road.  The parade will travel along Alber and Neckel streets and end up on Horger.  That night at 7 p.m. the Fordson Tractors will take on Westland’s John Glenn High.

Dearborn High and Edsel Ford both have Homecoming games on Oct. 7.  Dearborn High is planning a parade to start at 5 p.m. that day.

The DHS parade will leave from the student parking lot across the street from the high school, which is at 19501 Outer Drive.  The parade will travel north on South York, left on Fordson to South Highland, north to Marshall, east on Marshall onto South York and back to Outer Drive.  At 7 p.m., the Dearborn High Pioneers will also take on Westland’s John Glenn High.

The parades will feature marching bands, Homecoming courts, floats and student groups.

Edsel Ford’s Homecoming game will start at 7 p.m. on Oct. 7 when the team takes on Trenton High.

All three Homecoming games will also be broadcast on the NFHS Network streaming service.
