Good Afternoon,
I am pleased to announce the following administrative assignments that will be effective July 8, 2019. All of the new assignments are being made in the best interest of the students that we serve. In addition, assignments are always a result of the following: requests for transfer by administrators, new opportunities for administrators to grow leadership capacity, and thoughtful deliberation by the Executive Cabinet regarding how to best support our outstanding staff as they provide a high quality education for the benefit of our students.
Sam Dakhallah, current Assistant Principal at McCollough-Unis, to Assistant Principal at Maples. Congratulations to Natasha Shajira the current Maples Assistant Principal who is retiring in the fall.
Mariam Kobeissi, current Assistant Principal at the Henry Ford Early College, to Assistant Principal at McCollough-Unis. The Henry Ford Early College Position is being eliminated as part of our budget reduction plan.
Congratulations to Dan Blessing the current Stout Assistant Principal who is retiring this summer. We will soon hold interviews for one or two potential Assistant Principals vacancies with locations to be determined. Assistant principal postings went out in the spring.
