Weekly update for the exciting but busy month of May.

Scout Breakfast at Park Place and a Recycling Fair at Long Elementary.

Students working with Ms. Osinski on an educational research project at Dearborn High.  We held Memorial Day Ceremonies at Fordson on Tuesday, Dearborn High on Wednesday, and Edsel Ford on Thursday.

A school Improvement Visit to River Oaks. Kindergarten Teachers and the Early Childhood  specialist were engaged in a professional learning community meeting to discuss student progress.

The cleanup parade was indoors at Geer Park due to the weather but it did not dampen the student spirits. It was a fun event as we marched through the hallways and held an assembly in the multipurpose room.

Honoring Mr. and Mrs. Brehm at Fordson with the Brehm Hallway Dedication. It was a great event and all Trustees were present.

Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners at the 20th Annual Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year Awards presented by the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce, LaFontaine Automotive Group, and Dearborn Public Schools! Several Trustees were in attendance.
