Visiting Kindergarten classes is one of my favorite things to do along with the dialogue that I have with high school students via my advisory council and twitter outreach. I have not heard much about calling a snow day lately, I guess everyone is happy with the weather that we had the past couple of weeks up until today.
Brian Whiston was the main speaker for Youth Month at the Dearborn Rotary Club. Students have been attending meetings all month long and will run the Rotary meeting on March 2nd.
I have started to phase out the selfies with the superintendent in lieu of the students first photographs but when staff and students request it, I can’t resist. Here is one at the Henry Ford Science and Engineering night and we have a photo bomber. Lol. 🙂
It was a great night at Henry Ford Elementary. Thank you to the staff and parents who put together such a great program for our students and families.
Dr. Patterson provided training at Howard Elementary and I was able to get a photograph at the Dearborn Exchange Club with the Former President of Henry Ford College Dr. Andrew Mazzara. I always enjoy a good dialogue with Dr. Mazzara. He has a great sense of humor.
Dr. Mosallam and I visited the Adult Education classes on February 14. Ms. Garassi was a great host and the adult students were so excited and enthusiastic. I wish them all the best with their studies as many are very excited for the potential opportunity that the United States will afford them once they achieve a quality education.Â
