A visit to Howard Elementary.

A great SIP visit at Haigh.

A picture with Jilrae Greco an outstanding teacher at Haigh. She was my supervising teacher when I completed my student teaching assignment in a 4th grade classroom at Oakman Elementary in 1996. I am extremely grateful to her for the outstanding support that she provided to me when I completed my teacher certification requirements through the University of Detroit Mercy.

I attended a drug awareness and prevention seminar at the college. The US attorney, FBI and other officials were present. The event was hosted by Dr. Jensen and Trustees Petlichkoff & Dr. Meade were also in attendance.

Pictures from the DFT led phone drive to contact legislators regarding potential bills that were being discussed in the Lame Duck Congress in Lansing. I attended with teachers, union officials, employees, and administrators. There were several Bills that were being discussed which would have an impact on the school district and our students. Those bills included topics on pensions and retirement with an additional cost to the state in excess of 6 billion, a reduction in the school aid fund by almost 440 million or approximately 5 million per year, the elimination of energy choice that has saved our district over 4 million dollars, and bills to eliminate the ability of union presidents to participate in retirement plans.

SIP visit at Fordson. It was a great visit and the link crew did a great job.

A great SIP visit at DuVall where a student took a selfie with Ms. Alabakoff and Mr. Eisseilly.

Al.

An Excellent SIP visit at Lowrey.

A great SIP visit at Edsel. Al has the highest number of selfies with me in the district.

I am a huge Red wings fan. Hanging out with my son at the Game.

Our December General Administrator/Principal & Assistant Principal meetings were held at the Arab American Museum. A tour was included.

The November Superintendent Student Advisory Committee meeting.

There’s Al again. He and the security guards in the district provide us with a great service.
