The Board of Education has supported the facilitation of a great partnership between Henry Ford College and Dearborn Public Schools. I took as selfie last night at the board meeting with Dr. Jensen as we celebrated the collaborative work within the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) model that is being implemented at both organizations.
We wore jerseys to celebrate this great partnership and to represent Dr. Jensen’s football analogy in organizations where you should never tackle your own team. Unfortunately out there in the real world that can happen from time to time but we will work to continue to build positive climate and culture within our school system so that never happens.
Since we were wearing hockey jerseys I modified the saying to state never body check your own team.
