The current plan for blog implementation involves school level blogs that will be initiated by the end of November. In addition, all teachers are in the process of creating and implementing a blog for positive parent and student communication with a target implementation date of February 2016. However, Ms. Peterson and Mr. Attee the co-chairs of the building and classroom level blog committee will be reviewing procedures for ancillary staff blog implementation. We are looking at the possibility of shared blogs for ancillary staff members. We will let the committee study the issue and make appropriate recommendations. Although I am leading by example with my Superintendent blog, I want to stress that the teachers and the teacher blogs are more important. The classroom teachers are working hard for the benefit of the students to provide a high quality of instruction for our students. The teacher blogs provide curriculum and instruction communication to keep parents informed so that they can support their children with classroom instruction.
