Attention Dearborn Faculty,
I want to thank all of the faculty for enthusiastically participating in the last two days of professional development. I really enjoyed addressing both the elementary faculty at McCollough Unis and the Secondary Faculty at Edsel Ford today. Thank you to all of the faculty for being extremely receptive during my brief address and the information that was presented on the 90 day plan. In addition, feedback that we received from teachers indicated that the keynote speaker Dorina Sackman did a fantastic job and she was very inspirational. A visit to Dearborn High for the special Education Training, Michael Berry for the Teachscape/Danielson Framework Training and before the Transportation Department provided evidence of impactful staff development going on all over the school district. I feel really good about the start of the school year and I know that we are going to do great things and take this district to a new level of achievement for the benefit of the students.
