Dr. Glenn Maleyko

Happy MLK jr. Day. We are honoring his legacy in Dearborn Public Schools as students participate in community service projects.

Our schools are closed on the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday but our students are honoring Dr. King and the great work that he did to better this nation by participating in community service projects this weekend and into the holiday Monday. I am very proud of our students for stepping up and organizing the community service projects.  It is a fitting tribute to honor Dr. King’s legacy and provides the students the chance to interact with and support the local community.

“I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character”. –Martin Luther King, Jr.
